The 1975 are teasing their return with posters that have appeared across the UK.
Fans have spotted multiple posters in London and Manchester advertising The 1975’s Music For Cars with what seem to be lyrics from the record.
“First, disobey; then look at your phones,” the posters read which simultaneously says everything and nothing at all.
The band are still keeping very tight-lipped about when we’re to expect the music. Last year frontman Matt Healy tweeted out “1st June – The 1975” leading fans to believe that new music will drop then.
Last week, the band’s manager Jamie Oborne suggested that we’re just days off new music though. A fan tweeted a picture of a pink sky with a lightning bolt through it writing, “Evening, the iliwys era is still here.”
Oborne replied saying, “Yes for a few more days,” suggesting that a new era is imminent.
I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It was released back in 2016 and fans have been both patiently and impatiently awaiting their return.
It’s looking more and more likely that fans won’t be waiting too much longer.
