So Kerrang! dug up this video, which could not be more appropriate given their recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Slipknot, making their network television debut, playing “Wait and Bleed” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2000. It’s definitely a trip. For one thing, it’s hard to believe anything this heavy ever made it onto network television. For another, it’s hilarious to see the nine-member band struggle with the small amount of stage space. We forget now what a common problem that would have been for them in those days.
