Blink-182 bassist and co-founder Mark Hoppus has ranked his favourite songs by the band after being challenged by record store and label Smartpunk to complete a Blink-oriented music bracket challenge.
Hoppus’ top eight included ‘Dammit’, ‘I Miss You’, ‘All the Small Things’, ‘Rock Show’, ‘What’s My Age Again’, ‘First Date’, Feeling This’, ‘Adam’s Song’ and ‘I Miss You’.
The overall winner? ‘Feeling This’, the lead single from the band’s 2003 self-titled album.
“I was challenged by @smartpunk and here’s how it played out. Let’s Argue Online about it,” wrote Hoppus on Twitter, sharing his results.

Hoppus went on to discuss his answers with fans who tweeted at him.
When asked what it was specifically about ‘Feeling This’ that resonated so strongly with him, he called it “the apex of blink-182”, saying it was “The best of all of us. It was different and new and (in my opinion) groundbreaking.”
Hoppus also talked about ‘Anthem Pt. II’, calling it some of former bandmate Tom DeLonge’s “best songwriting.”
“The intro still gives my chills. That stab of guitars and drums with the arpeggiated guitar line? Chef’s kiss,” he wrote.
