The Pentagon Has Officially Published Tom DeLonge’s UFO Videos

Back in 1999, Tom DeLonge released an album called Enema of the State with his band Blink-182. One of the songs on the album was titled ‘Aliens Exist’, inspired by DeLonge’s fascination with extraterrestrials. Now, some 20 years later, those claims have a little more credibility.

In the years since DeLonge left Blink in 2015, he’s spent that time studying UFOs with his research organisation To The Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences. That work has paid off, with the Pentagon officially publishing three Navy videos, initially shared by DeLonge’s company, showing flying objects moving and spinning in the sky. The clips were filmed between 2004 and 2015 by naval aviators, and originally shared back in 2017.

Upon their release, the clips quickly gathered millions of views. The US government subsequently launched an investigation, and in September 2019, officially declared the flying objects shown as “unidentified aerial phenomena”.

According to a statement posted by Department of Defense, the official release of the footage by the Pentagon is intended “to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos,” adding that the phenomena shown in the videos remains “unidentified”.

“With today’s events and articles on my and [To the Stars Academy]’s efforts to get the US Gov to start the grand conversation, I want to thank every share holder at To The Stars for believing in us,” wrote DeLonge on Twitter.

“Next, we plan on pursuing the technology, finding more answers and telling the stories.”

In a statement to The New York Times, DeLonge called the release “monumental news”, making the first time in history that the Pentagon had acknowledged the existence of unidentified aerial phenomena, removing doubt about the authenticity of evidence.

You can see all three videos – ‘FLIR’, ‘GOFAST’ and ‘GIMBAL’ – here.
