FSIS Announces Recall Of RTE Meat And Poultry Sausage Products, Turkey Sausage Patties

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service or FSIS announced two sausage product recalls by Mundelein, Illinois-based Alef Sausage Inc. as well as Abbotsford, Wisconsin-based Abbyland Foods. Alef Sausage is recalling around 61,574 pounds of ready-to-eat or RTE halal meat and poultry sausage products due to misbranding and possible temperature abuse.
